I went into family medicine because I admired my father so much as he spent 50 years as a Family Physician. I enjoyed caring for multi-generational families over the 30 years I practiced. Now in urgent care, I enjoy dealing with acute care problems like infections, orthopedic injuries and lacerations. It’s a refreshing change from the 30 years handling chronic health care needs.!
Janet Tamaren, MD
General Practice and Pediatrics Physician, Emergency Medicine, DOT Certified Examiner, Civil Surgeon
Dr. Tamaren has over twenty years of experience in primary care and in urgent care. She went to medical school in Lexington, Kentucky, with an internship in Pediatrics. She then worked in Family Medicine, seeing children and adults of all ages. For ten years, she ran her own practice in Carlisle, Kentucky. She has experience in Emergency Medicine as well, covering the local Emergency Room in Carlisle. She is married, with three grown children. The birth of her grandson brought her to Denver one year ago.
“I enjoy being a physician. I like talking to patients and helping them through an illness or with a medical problem. My goal is to treat every patient with respect and courtesy, the same as I would want to be treated. I feel privileged that I have the medical training to be able to make a difference in people’s lives.”
Michael A. Noce, MD

After 24 years of active duty with full service family practice too include overseas deployments, he is retired. He continued for 12 years in private practice mixed with university level emergency and urgent care medicine. He has been in the Denver metro area for the last five years.
He is married and has six grown children. His favorite time is family – which includes chasing and getting fully involved with his 12 grand kids.
For the last 15 years, he has journeyed to 3rd world countries to work with Christian medical missions. This has been a highlight that he consistently looks forward to take part in.
He enjoys his practice of medicine with AFC because every day is a new opportunity to care for the various medical problems that present to our clinic. People have a good reason for presenting to our facility and it’s my job to see that (our staff and myself) will provide the best and competent care we can every time.
